Routing a lip on a box or the back of a picture frame after it has been glued up
Is there any clever way to rout a lip around the top of a box base/bottom of a box lid, or around the back of a picture frame, after the item has been glued up?
I know the sensible thing to do is rout it beforehand, but for an odd reason*, in this case I can't.
So I'm trying to figure out how to do it after.
*If you really want to know: I'm dealing with some exotics and using miter joints and will be hand planing them and shooting the edges to get a perfect glue up...but my shooting board and plane only work on the right hand side. Putting in the lips beforehand is going to give me a registration problem that may throw off the accuracy of the shooting.
