I was searching Rockler and Woodcraft and the Triton is not listed on Woodcraft and "No longer available" from Rockler.

I found one listed at amazon.

Hmmm...what's up with that? Have I been living under a rock again?

Thanks.

Hi Mike, I believe there is some change going on with the US distributor at the moment.

As far as I am aware, Triton are still in production.

I will check the Aussie forum to see if there is any post.

I have always claimed that the Triton was designed for table use where it excels but as a hand held plunge router I rate it as very poor. Only by using one for a while and then comparing it to say a Makita will what I've said become obvious.

I checked on the Aussie forum, and it appears that the Australian distributorship is also changing hands.

That would be about right timing for contracts to be expiring...

Donald,

Thank you for contacting Kreg Customer Service. As of April 22nd Kreg Tool Company is no longer the United States distributor of Triton products. A company by the name of Cascade has taken over that title; I can provide you with their number if you'd like. If there's anything else I can help you with or if you have any additional questions feel free to let me know.

Hope this answers the question.......

Don

Can you do an "unboxing" when it arrives, Mike?

I am interested to see what collets and accessories come with the US kit.

Thanks Lou.

I found that on the Aussie forum.

TRITON / GMC

They have a special section just for GMC/Trition.

PS.. they seem to be carrying a very limited stock of Triton tools and equipment. ( only 2 routers)
