Default New toy arrived!

I love Christmas and Birthdays , well pretty much any time the UPS or Purolator guy shows up!
My Festool 1400 router just arrived so I went to the store and found the closest adaptor I could in ABS , a 3" to 2" reducer so that I can connect my GI dust extractor to the router . Will have to use some duct tape but it will work .

I have to mount my Incra router plate for my PC690 in my TS extension so I'm looking forward to giving it a try now that I have the router and the guides . Heres a pic

Awesome...

If it can not be fixed with a hammer, then it's electrical.

give these a look see... they can come to the rescue so often you'll ask yourself - ""where have you been all my life"""...

Fernco Flexible Couplings and Adapters | Fernco

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

They had them there to . The small end fit the Festool hose but the 3" end wouldn't go over the 3" rockler dust quick connect . It could have been done with an additional 3" rubber sleeve and a 3" piece of abc but I thought why bother making it any harder than it has to be .
The Festools hoses opening was 2" ID and 2 "1/4 OD .now if it had been 2"1/2 OD I would have had it made .

Thanks Mike , it seems really accurate plunging as there's no side to side movement at all ! Can't wait to do a test run with her

dip the Fernco in hot water...
it will stretch...
next time look for no hub connectors...
