Default Router parts

There is a site out there, were you can look up the manufacture of the sears part by the first 3 numbers of the model number. I think it's on Vintage tools, but I'm not 100 % sure.

Hi Dave. Welcome to our little corner of the 'net.

315 prefix means that router was built by Ryobi. Check with them, you might get lucky. Or check Craigs list or Ebay for one that you can scavage for parts.

If it's brushes you need, measure them(you'll have to guess somewhat on length), and there is a good chance you can find them here...

Eurton Electric Online Store: Brushes

Or any number of other motor/electrical supply places.

Slim chance on Ryobi having the parts as they are Sears primary source for those parts... If Ryobi had them, Sears could get them. Never hurts to ask , though.

I have found that hand tools are the best choice when I want to make mistakes at a slower rate of speed.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Still wondering what parts you might need...

I called Ryobi and they do not have the brushes but do have the specs. I have misplaced the scan they sent me. Inside tubes measures 5/16-1/2 and 3/4 deep. Tubes are 1 1/4 long. Several places sell brushes by size, wire size and contact type.

I'm on the same hunt...caliper and tube are in my bag and will be calling around later today.

Electric motor repair shops will also have them by size but closed on Saturdays by me...another reason for retiring.

Thanks for the link...Nick

EDIT...I found the specs... .502 x .350 x 1.06. Spring length 1.4 contact cap at end of spring .430 x .690. Will add image of specs later today...

...found the scanned specs...attached...they came from Lee Woodhams at TTIGROUPNA.COM

Assuming you're looking for brushes, otherwise this might help other 275100 members...
