Default router crafter parts

i have a router crafter i purchased and have been using to turn flutes i just picked up the drive spindle part off ebay and noticed that it tends to move a bit more than it should after a closer look i noticed my crafter is missing the lock ring on the back of the cable spindle part number WP-RL/03 for trend or 29LD-138-2 for sears is their anyone that can give me the measurements for the ring i'm gonna try and find a replacement aftermarket?

Try W T Tool or (heavean forbid) Harbor Feeight sell generic snap rings in both SAE and Metric sizes. A kit from these locations is probably the same cost as 1 unit from Sears. If your "lock" ring is actually screwed on, try a mechainical supply house (again W T Tool) for a thin locking ring. A picture or better description will allow use to better point you in the correct direction.

Good Luck - Baker

The Sears parts list describes the ring as a "1 inch external snap ring".
It is a fairly thin ring & I can remove mine with my fingernail.
Good luck!\Hilbilly
