Default CPO Tools Remanufactured - Advertisement

I happened to be looking at an ad in CPOTOOLS.COM and noticed the following :

Buy with confidence! Our Reconditioned items include all necessary parts and are guaranteed to function like new, backed by our 60 Day Money Back Guarantee. Please note however that reconditioned units received from the manufacturer may or may not include accessories shown with this listing.

I draw your attention to the underlined...does this mean "buy from us you get everything in the listing; buy from mfg and may be missing parts" OR

"buy from us and you may not get everything in the listing" ??

For those of you who have dealt with CPO, can you help me interpret their message ? This one happens to be on the listing for the 1617 reman...

Thanks...Nick

I have .... a lot...
Bosch recondition has never been an issue...
nothing missing....
how ever Tom was missing a collet...
called Bosch and the collet was sent to him next day...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

Nick, I have bought several reconditioned tools from CPO, and everything is there, and the tools are in NEW condition in the manufacturers box.

Thank you, Herb...starting my window shopping for my next router...

I don't know why I need another one...I only have two hands. :-)

naw...
it's all part of the drive to achieve finer craftsmanship...

scenario...

you are working on a project w/ multiple routers each loaded w/ a different bit...
one time setup for each....
accuracy maintained... something that is near impossible to do if w/o a lot of fiddling if you are continually swapping bits out because you only have one router...
project flow improves...
time saved... no/less dings to the bottom line...
no resets because one or more cut pieces failed because of splitting/tear outs/wild grain or aesthetics - etc and replacements are needed...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

...taken to the logical extreme, therefore, a router is required for each bit owned...

Hence equilibrium in the universe...solar system stays where it is...

I will be doing my part for science and humanity...

...and so I shall explain it to my honey...

...and I think I'm almost there...I need one more table for a second table mount and then I'm golden...

I like the idea of setting up a bit with a router...it sure takes the worry out of constant measuring to duplicate a profile...
