Default Manual for Craftsman Router

I am looking for a manual for a Craftsman router model 315.245070.
This manual is not listed in the current list of Craftsman router manuals available on this site.

Welcome to the forum Tom. Just in case no one answers who has a manual and hasn't posted it, what is that you need to know? I can tell you that it was made by Ryobi (315.=Ryobi). Parts will hard to impossible to find most likely unless you find a dead one. If it is an operational issue then post a picture, someone here has likely owned one. You can post pictures aslong as they are in your hard drive by going advanced, manage attachments, browse files, open, and then upload.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

I picked this router up at a yard sale and I would like to find an operator manual for it.
Thanks for your response

I've got an old 315-17460 Craftsman. I probably have the original manual for it. Could you post a photo of the one you have? If they look the same and you want it I'll scan my manual and post it here or email it to you.

Just an observation, none of my 5 Craftsman routers have that many numbers in the model number. Is It a possible typo? If i have the manual for your model number I will post for you!

I am not able to post a picture right now (camera broken).
This is a 9 amp. plunge router that will accept quarter inch router bits.

Timothy, I too have a craftsman router without all of those numbers.
Not sure why some have these numbers and some don't.
Thanks for the responses.

If it is a plunge (mine isn't), that may be why the numbers are longer. Just guessing.

Good morning.
The model numbers on craftsman routers is very very confusing (to me).
The model number that I am looking for (315.245070) is a 9 amp plunge router, takes 1/4 inch router bits that I picked up at a yard sale.

I also have two other fixed base craftsman routers.
a) 315.17430 is a 1-1/2 hp. fixed base with a dust bag attachment. It takes 1/4 inch bits.
b) 315.174921 is also a 1-1/2 hp. fixed base but does not have the dust bag attached. It takes 1/4 inch bits.

Thanks for your response.
