Default WIFI Long Range

I have a WIFI Long range USB antenna(CCRANE) and would like to connect t to a router and be able to use the internet connection for many devices. Does anybody know of a router that can accept such a connection as #G routers don't support it. I know of Alpha R36 but want to use another one.

what size bit are you running in that router. And don't forget to avoid climb cuts.

This is a forum for woodworking routers, not computer routers....

Maybe this should be in the lobby?

There are routers that will accept external antennas. A search of about any online computer company should find you one.

That said, most if not all the CCRANE stuff I found looks primarily designed to separate you from your money, and little more. Just my opinion.

How can an antenna that plugs into a USB port(for what, I don't know) help with WIFI reception? It would need to attach to your WIFI adapter or router to help at all. Setting a set of tv rabbit ears on top of your computer would work equally well(not at all!).

And up to a mile range? Really?
Buyer beware.

There are USB WIFI adapters available that incorporate an antenna, router that will except an external antenna, range extenders, etc. Any of these I think would serve you better. Oh, and why waste money these days on "G"? Rather outdated!

I have found that hand tools are the best choice when I want to make mistakes at a slower rate of speed.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.
