Default Router Bits

Ordered from LeeValley and got the new 2015-2016 Catalog.

Who makes their Router Bits and are they good choices?

In a 2007 FWW tool test LV`s bits came in just behind Whiteside and Eagle America. I`ve always been told that Eagle America bits are made by Whiteside so they are basically number 1 and LV is number 2. You can buy them with confidence. I have a few and they cut well and last a long time.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Everything I've had from Lee Valley is first class. Walking into their store is like walking into Alladins cave for me. "If they don't have it you don't need it." Oldrusty

Been using LV bits for perhaps 30+ years. Never a problem and some of them I have definitely used on a commercial basis.

OK, fess up...which one of you clowns stole my sig? It was right here a second ago.
