Default Dewalt router.

I just want to give an internet company called "CPO" a two thumbs up report. I bought a Dewalt router that had been refurbished and when I got it the threads where you screw the collets were cross threaded. I call CPO and they have already shipped me another router. When I get the new router I am to use that box to ship the old one back at their expense. I have bought several refurbished tools from them and have been happy with them. I have bought several tools new and used from them and will continue to buy more as needed. I can't say enough good things about CPO. They are such a great company.

PS- I am a customer and that is all.

Don Glad you got a new one to replace the refurbished one. Thanks for the tip on the company I'll have to look into them. As I sometimes buy refurbished items. Such as I did with my 650 watt power supply for my computer when my 750 one took a crap and I ordered a refurbished one from Newegg. @ years and it's still running and my PC stays on 24/7...

Thanks for the heads up. It's always good to here about a company that cares about customer service. You should have included a link to their website.
By the way, do they have a sister company called RD2?

I agree with Don, They are the best. I have bought a lot of refurbs and they are like brand new tools.

I have had good luck with refurbed computers too, not from CPO, but different outfits. When I think about it, I have never been burned on a refurbished item.

I think I checked them out once but either they didn't ship to Canada or the cost made it prohibitive.

Refurbished tools probably get tested before they leave the shop. New ones don't get tested.

I used CPO outlets for the first time recently while on vacation in Florida - bought a few items including the 1617evspk, refurbed. My order arrived within 24 hours.

I wish they shipped to Canada, but they don't. If they change their shipping I would certainly use them again.

Some folks call me Vince - other folks call me...........

I've also had good success with CPO--too many times!!

Stick--I think tech products are an entirely different story. Over the last 10-15 years i've bought several refurb and "open box" computers from Tiger Direct. Also bought a few TV's (open box) as well. The desktop i'm using was a barebones build-up from them 3 1/2 years ago.

They ship UPS ground, so from Chicago to here it's almost always here the day after i order. That said--it's tech stuff, so i may have just been very lucky to get no DOA's!! I've only sent a few items back, no hassle. And, when they do rebate items, that process has been less painful than most--almost as good as Menard's process, but it's either check or gift card...not a store credit (which i'm okay with at Menard's--i spend enough money there it's as good as cash.
