Question dovetail jigs, rocklerbei

being a novice at this type of encounter, I enjoy woodworking, call myself a jacknife carpenter, have an engineering background in electronics and electromechancal. But really enjoy working with wood, but it gives me pleasure to see some of the projects come together. Just made a tool cabinet that takes up a 2 ft x 2ft footprint with lots of storage, has wheels and splits into wth a 6 inch left side, 12 inch center section and another 6 inch side, with peg board and the two sides and shelving in the center, it's made of baltic birch. Must say it came out pretty good for my first major project. Got the plans out of the grizzly catalog.
I'm now trying to get this new dovetail jig down to a science, but the instructions leave something to be desired.
