Default Router jigs

I just bought a pc 4212 dove tail jig and am having trouble finding a good compatible router for the guides. I prefer makita but there are no dealers here. Crafstman seems to have a large selection what model router do I need to buy. I am doing a set of cabinets and need to finish them so I really need a router. Please read and reply if you can help

FWIW, John, I use a pair of PC 690-series routers with my PC 4212 jig, with Pat Warner's precision base installed. ( do a lot of through dovetails, so the pair comes in handy.) The Warner sub-base ensures the guide bushing is dead center.

Hi John

I suggest the one below
Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more

If you want a real deal I suggest the link below
Craftsman 17543 11 amp 2 hp Corded Fixed and Plunge Base Soft Start Router with Electronic Feedback : Sears Outlet

By the way forget about the guide just get a router bit with a bearing on it and it's always dead on and you don't need to buy a high price and high end base plate

Just one place to get them from

OR
Just put one on the bit you have now
