Question Shooting boards.....

Has anyone got plans or photos of a shooting board they would like to share?

Shooting board There on that section of the board where you put your trim. I would advise glueing a high # sand paper. Helps hold that trim piece a whole lot !!

From your neck of the woods James;

Derek Cohen's website is pretty cool. More shooting board articles there.

James, here's one I did a while back and posted:

http://www.routerforums.com/twoskies...ing-board.html

it has proven to be quite durable and once locked down, does a great job of maintaining an angle. I've since added PSA sandpaper to most of the surfaces which pretty much eliminated any movement whatsoever. Construction was of materials I had sitting around more or less. As you can see, I can do long grain and end grain from one station. Everything just loosens up with a twist of the knobs and slides off and on...
Hope it gives ya a few ideas

Derek Cohen, I've been following him for quite a while now. The guy comes up with some outstanding jigs!! Some of the finest I've seen. Between his how to's and his reviews the guy is well worth book marking and checking in on from time to time.
