Default Pen making jig

I've never had any interest in making pens. But I just saw this pen-making process that was posted by Serge from Canada that uses a homemade jig to make them with a plunge router. I still don't want to make pens, but it's interesting reading:

I am not into pen making,but this could be adapted for other applications , like making short dowels out of the same material as a project from the scrap. This would not be a hard jig to make,or a variation of it.

Thanks for posting , quite appropriate to this forum as a router is used for yet another application.
