Default Drill press jig for small round parts

I ran across this jig that Serge made for drilling holes in small round parts, like slices of dowels, etc. The third picture down the page shows it in use, and there is a link right there that says "my homemade light drill press jig" that will take you to the build of it.

I can think of a few times when this would have made things a lot easier and safer.

Yes, that's quite a tidy little setup. Should be adaptable to a variety of shapes as well.

I recently needed to drill holes in some triangular shaped pieces of wood, and made up a wedge shaped jig attached to my drill press table for the purpose. Not as fancy as this setup though.

Thanks for posting.

OK, fess up...which one of you clowns stole my sig? It was right here a second ago.
