Default Blank plate recommendations

This weekend I got a good price on a (sealed, new) Router Raizer for my ELU 3338. Next steps are

(1) Xtreme Xtension (unless another product is recommended), and

(2) to replace the phenolic to which it is attached. The Lexan options looks adequate, but I think I'd like a little more rigidity given the weight of the ELU. Any recommendations?
I've not found a plate drilled for the 3338. Can do it myself if needed.

Grizzly offers a table insert for $13 but I would not leave it in a table with the router hanging on it when not using it.Pat's aluminum plate plate would be okay left in the table.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
