Mike, the tool area is going the same way as the banks/Wall Street/Auto Companies! First they combine into four or five companies all with their different names but only a few owners. Second the run to the government and cry for a billion dollar bailout! They don't get it in time so they call for a bankruptcy/reorganization.

Any way have a Merry Christmas!

Hi Guys

I need to add a comment ,what going to happen when the US Gov.files for bankruptcy/reorganization. ?

Or when they run out of ink...to print more money...who is going to bail them out, the Bill Gates people or all the rich people in silicone valley..not to say anything about the over paid CEO's of the BIG oil/ Auto companies... it's mess... GB needs to look what he as done and then go home maybe a new Big New Deal will fix it, but who knows...
The next 2 years will be fun for a lot of us ,,,hang on to your hat....or to say your coat so you can stay warm in the bread lines the writing on the wall for a big fall

Hi,

Since they finally admitted, "we're in a recession". Things are only going to worse.

I'm stocking up on TP, one day IT will be the going currency.

HI GUYS,

I must live in a differnt world. My savings are down, my taxes are up, the county executive voted himself a raise, congress voted themselves a raise with medical benefits that you or I can only dream about and four baseball players are making more money than I can count in a year. No recession (read DEPRESSION) here. Wait till you see what it costs to go to a baseball game next season even without the hot dogs and beer.

Without looking at the blog posting (and I will in a little bit) is it given as raw numbers or per-capita. Doing the calculation one way favors one cost, the other way the other coast. Sort of a new money vs. old money thing...

To save time, I put myself in the no money catagory.

By the way, I had to give you grief for "silicone" because some people (and as recently as last week on our local news channel) they don't seem to know the difference between "silicon" and "silicone". I usually get a chuckle out of that.

And on that same tangent, I really got a laugh when the air-head newsreader said "a staunch opponent of abolition" when she should have said "a staunch opponent of abortion". Wow, I thought to myself, that politician is a lot farther to the right than I though!
