I ate it until it came out of my ears during survival training (USAF) in the mountains. I was fortunate enough to find water with them in it and knew how to go about getting some.

The last time I was in Houston TX I had some in a restaurant. Very good eating for a Yankee.

Crawfish are excellent eats! The last boil we had, wound up with some left over. I pulled all the meats out & crushed the heads to get the juice. Made a cheese filling and added the chopped tails. Made a batch of sun dried tomato pasta, rolled it out & made ravioli with them. Reduced the juice and made a cream sauce (lots of herbs). Boiled the ravioli, moved them into a fry pan and gave them a quick cook in brown butter, then moved them into the cream sauce. Talk about good eats!

Looks like a good time to be had.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Left over Crawfish? I didn't know there was such a thing!

When the grand kids were little and spent the night I took them crawfish'n in the bar ditch in my front yard with a string and bacon tied on the end. Turned out the grand daughters were really good at yanking them out of the hole. We always put them back and I fixed store bought crawfish to eat and we never had left overs.
