Default My wife amazes me?

Sometimes my wife just amazes me. She retired from the school system and is pretty dang smart. (Questionable on certain subjects). She always votes and does her duty. While eating supper - She makes the statement" I do not understand why Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich would put his career on the line - for trying to sell President - elect Barack Obama U. S. Senate chair. I looked and her and said "What?" She said "Did he not think someone would not notice him trying to leave the building with the chair and wonder why he taking a chair from the building"? and what the heck did he want a chair for and what was he going to do with it. I looked at her very serious and said "You do know that things like that - especially if a President elect had sat in it - would be really worth a lot of money on E-Bay." end of conversation on politics. *sigh*

You handled that beautifully. I don't think I would have been that quick.

Hmmmm. According to Antiques Roadshow, it's always better to have at least a pair of chairs in order to maximize the value.

She's a keeper, Larry. Don't ever let her go.
