It began to rain during the night last night. It is still raining off and on.
Since it seems to be going to come aground way south of us here in the Houston area.
We plan to sit it out.
If that should change, we will move further inland, since we are just a couple of miles from the gulf.
If three dogs pee together here, it floods due to it being so close to sea level, we will watch the water levels closely.
My son lives on his boat in the Serf Side area and we moved him in land yesterday. I did notice while at his boat that
it was a lot higher in the water than I had ever seen it, so the tidal surge was beginning then.
It is black out side at 1030 am and raining now. I hear the thunder.

Thanks Rick. Today is Monday and it seems that the worst of the storm has passed us by.
I watch the news reports as it came inland and the storm clouds seemed to split right over our town.
Parts of it went on towards Galveston and the main storm circled around to the west of us.
We get some wind and a bit of rain. We had 4 inches of rain in the back yard, which has drained away.
Hope to get out and do some shopping maybe tomorrow. Everything has been closed up since Friday and Saturday.
