Default Having a gutter cover party tomorrow

This one ought to be lots of fun and brotherly love. My two brothers and 1 in-law will be installing gutter covers on my mothers house. We're all looking forward to getting together and I'm sure there will be a lot of cutting up. There are no real heights involved though there will be ladder challenges. Weather will be good so no reason to not get it done.

I just thought I'd share.

Replaced all of my gutter gaurds a couple of weeks ago. Got ride of the old plastic ones and installed aluminum ones. If its needed, grab a bucket or two of soapy water and wash down the gutters while your at it. I did mine at the same time and man, what a difference in appearance....

with all that help, should make for a great day for all of you guys..Enjoy the time together

That's a great idea Bill and also the plan. I want the gutters in good shape before the covers go on.

I've never regretted installing the Aluminum ones on our house.
Gutter cleaning (inside) used to be a semi-annual challenge; one of my least favourite jobs.
All the guys with their minds in the gutter; priceless.

I installed the aluminum ones from Lowe's. I took them off as all they did was collect leaves, get wet, get heavy and pull the gutters from the trim.

Sorry you had problems with the guards from Lowes. I know nothings perfect but I've researched gutter guards and feel this guard is worth taking a chance on.

I solved all my gutter connected issues in one easy step, by having my younger son remove the gutters. Now I'm happy.

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
