Default Really cool incident

Some of you may remember a while back I did a plaque for a WWII vet. Today we were in the area for my wife's cousin funeral and went out with the in-laws for lunch after. While sitting in the restaurant my father-in-law pointed to a group of people in the corner and said they were members of the veterans club and Bryce was there. I got to meet him and the other one I did a plaque for. I thought it was kinda neat.

I think it's a little stronger than "kinda neat" you could even go with "most excellent" LOL Good for you!

Nice job. But everytime someone thanks me for my service I always get embarrassed as Hell. We always just thought of it as a job, one that had to be done.

Not many of those guys left, Theo. They all gotta be around 90+. Korea vets are only about 10 years younger. And there was no counseling or mental help when you came back. Just try to pick up where you left off and keep on going with your life, like you said.

Oh, and thanks for your service you cranky old codger!!
