Yes, I would start with Clamps... I didn't think they were going to do the MDF stuff until later...
... I don't think I would buy the MDF stuff... I'm inclined to make my own and just cut some simple dados for the clamps...

Nice concept but I don't see those clamps as not being in the way a lot of the time.

I do make copies of almost everything I make. Which is the main reason I nail my masters in place. No muss, no fuss; quick and easy. You can see the nails in my masters, and a routed cane, well half a cane.

In the Demo, he routed around to where he needed to remove a clamp & re-position it to other side in order to complete the routing.

Is there another way you see them getting in the way? Very narrow pattern maybe...

Rick,

You really won't need 6 when you get them so when you get them, why don't you just send 3 of them to me. I think they'd come in handy.

I like double sided tape and the fact that my security system blocked the site, I'll pass.

Joe; in my case it's more psychological than physical. I just don't like stuff that I sense is in my way.
It often stops me from doing whatever I had planned on doing, while I switch over to 'clean-up' mode.
It's a quirk.

That, and if there is anything for them to catch on, they likely would. And, come loose, etc. I'll stick with nails. If a nail starts to loosen up on me, I'll either whack it with a hammer, tap another nail or three in, or both. As long as I don't whack the nails all the way down, it's quick and easy to loosen them - if I'm doing more pieces, I don't remove the nails, just loosen them enough to lift the master away - then set the master in place on a new piece, whack the nails, and good to go.

What reason did you Security system give you?

What kind of Security system do you have?

I have ESET security & have had no problems...

Thank you.

@Joe Lyddon

Joe: I use Norton and it flagged it as an unrecognized site that could a risk. On that basis I did not proceed to the site.
