Sounds like good ole Tennessee redneck music. I also think they were sipping on some Tennessee home made sour mash. Did you know you can buy homemade moonshine legally? There is a still right outside the town of Woodbury TN where I used to live. It is a legal still. I know a guy that helped to get that still going. Him and his dad used to run a still some years ago. Boy how time haved changed.

Don in Murfreesboro,Tn.

Measure once cut twice and it's still to short.

It's all about paying the taxes on it Don. That's always been the governments issue over home made hooch.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Moonshine is nothing more than uncolored whiskey. You can buy it in any liquor store. The federal government says you can make up to 10 gallons a year without paying tax on it. Bootlegging is a thing of the past. There is more money in drugs. I lived in central KY for 6 years. Marijuana was known as Whaky Bakky. No...I never used drugs. Didn't need it.

Maybe now it is just uncolored whiskey, but years ago it was certainly not. Took skill to make good whiskey, both good tasting, and wouldn't blind you. Drugs may be the big thing now, but bootlegging is not dead yet. The only drugs I have ever taken have been prescribed drugs (prescribed for me), and only as directed. Quit drinking years back.
