Default Any "Good" BLack Friday Sales?

The only one woodworking sale I saw worth buying from was at PeachTree USA https://www.ptreeusa.com/edirect_112...ack_friday.htm

I looked through their ad. Amazingly, some of the items look to be normal price. For example, I purchased the Kreg Drawer slide kit last Feb through Amazing and I paid the same price as what is being advertised as 45% discount in this ad.

Bottom line is to always do some research and don't trust the big discounts that are advertised.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Knowing what the "Real" price on anything is a must before you buy it. They had a good price on a Tool safety switch (On/Off) and a I Socket Auto switch for the dust collector besides those 2 and some casters that was about it that interested me.

The local Rockler store has a shark Hd 4. $400.00 off plus a free laser addon free that sells for $799.00 = $1200.00 off normal cost
I do not know if you can buy it for that price online

This is a common trick they’ve pulled off for years at our local stereo shop . Like Mike says, do your research .

This week, I was at Home Depot and looked at the Dewalt and other tool specials. You really need to read the "what's in the box" description. There was a Dewalt battery drill and impact diver kit on sale, but if you looked around carefully, the new brushless motor technology kit was also on sale for US$20.00 - 25.00 more. Same with Milwaukee.

If you are not observant, flashy ads can easily sell off old/obsolete/non-selling stock.

For us guys in the North, there’s never truly much of a sale . You can get a good deal on Norton antivirus wear , but that’s about it lol .

I never see quality tools on sale here , as I don’t think there’s a lot of room to move

Quite good deals at times here in Ont. Competition does wonders.
