Default Dr.Zook

For those who remember Dr.Zook, Dave would have celebrated a birthday today. He is sorely missed.

We have a number of members who are sorely missed. The only consolation for them, if they are still watching, is knowing that.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

I think an even better legacy is that they are still teaching and passing on their knowledge.

Dave was a great guy, and I am glad to have gotten the chance to know him.

Dave and I were great friends. He was a retired toolmaker and taught me via email many things that improved my metalworking skills, I really do miss him and several other forum friends who are no longer with us.

Dave was one of a kind and a dear friend. I think of him often.
