I guess that was it. My sweetie and I went to a big event today in Nearby Liberty, Tx. There were 350 vendors ranging from 18 wheeler display to folks sitting at tables.
I saw everything from typical flea market items to very nice looking painted yard art.
One of the coolest things we saw was a small kid sized Christmas themed apron that was hand made by the lady in the booth - $12.00USD. No kidding. It looked great.
Another booth had a display of crosses. Yeah, Made in China sticker on the back. We moved on.
I did feel like I helped a little old lady by buying some metal bottle openers. They were marked $4 but she said they were 50% off, so $2 each. I bought 6 of them for my Christmas gift projects. I felt like she could use the money. Glad to help her out.
Then I donated $12 to the lady in the BBQ food truck!
Two chopped beef sandwiches and two drinks. Fair price also. Then I started getting sleepy!
Very first booth we walked by had a painted child's rocking horse. The lady said she bought it in a yard sale and painted it. Oh well, my sweetie liked it. Now it is in our living room.
Then my sweetie spotted the metal artwork booth. It appears those guys are regulars at the Canton, Tx trade days. She bought the parrot on the perch to hang in our Palapa, and then spotted the Margaritaville sign. The guy gave her a $15 dollar discount since she had already bought one of their pieces. Our patio is looking more and more like Margaritaville every day.
We had fun. The weather was great (mid 70's) partly cloudy and no wind.
