Default December Contributor of the Month

I have the pleasure of announcing that our Forum Contributors have chosen December's Contributor of the Month to be Herb Stoops. Herb does some very fine work. Each year he makes presents for the members of his woodworking club and he currently has a thread going showing the trammels he made for this year. Check it out.

What a surprise, Thanks guys, I just enjoy making things out of wood, and giving them away,of course I always keep one for myself. during the year I am constantly thinking of what I can make for the the WW club members for Christmas. It started a few years ago when I made a few select people presents of some hand planes, and they liked them so much that I got the idea to do it for everyone in the club.

Here are some pictures of the first ones. I made 5 of the block planes, 3 of the wooden infill planes as mock ups for the steel infill plane I made for myself. I gave away all but one of each to some special fellow woodworkers.
