Would dat be in County Derry, then?

If eating carrots improves the eyesight, how come there are so many dead rabbits on the roads?

That's crazy!!! I guess not all firemen have experience with crossing railroad tracks with a fire hose, but some companies don't have railroads in their fire district, so they have no experience dealing with the situation. If they get a call for mutual aid to a neighboring fire district with a railroad, they are untrained to deal with it, and this is likely what happened here. I couldn't count how many times as a fireman that I've had to dig the ballast out from under the rails and between two ties in order to put the hose UNDER THE RAILS.

They are following prescribed procedure- put the ramps down anywhere there is traffic. No mention as to what type of traffic is covered.

At least when the train derails and water is spraying all over the place, the authorities will be handy.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

A couple of thoughts...

Hold my beer and watch this!

Git-r-done!

As for me, I think I would stand back and wait for the 5:15!

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

It may be photo shopped as Bob says but my brother was a fireman for many years in Birmingham (Al not Mich. or the original in the UK) and according to him he worked with guys that were dumb enough to do this.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

It was probably staged; fireman humour, but it's still a chuckle.
