Default Snow?

We just might get some. It is just north of Houston and west- San Marcos, San Antonio and Rockport are reporting snow. Well, actually, we are seeing pictures on FaceBook.

@Cricket - Got Snow?

Here it has been 43 and light rain all day.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

The snow is moving in to the west side of Houston now. Of course that is still 30 miles away. Same for the northern parts of the county also. When I looked outside, I thought I saw a flurry or two, but it won't stick. Still 39 deg F. That is the coldest this year so far.

Weird weather. It is snowing down in the Rio Grande valley on the border with Mexico!

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Sat in my tree yesterday -- had 3 snow showers. Supposed to get up to 3 inches this week end. Some leaves are still on the oaks. Strong winds dumped a bunch on the lawn. Gonna be a mess.

We had light flurries here in the morning east of Dallas. Worst thing was 7 mph winds gusting to 33 mph, wind chill was terrible. Wind is not as bad today but temp is 27 and wind chill is 22, not a good day for glue-ups.

We've had strong winds for the past couple of days. Died down a lot now. Today it's zero c. Tonight it's to be -10c. I've been driving with no heat in my van for the past two days. Going in Monday for a look-see. The thermostat is suspect. Heater hoses are cool both in and out. Gauge shows a little under normal. This is when it's handy to have three cars. Lots of snow off lake Huron and Georgian Bay but it won't reach us.

Thermostat is an unlikely suspect. If it were stuck open, it would take longer to heat, but should heat. If it were stuck closed, it would likely overheat.
Sounds more like what you need is a heater flush, could well be plugged if both hoses are cool.

According to the weather man, our state is supposed to get a fair amount of snow today. But that is in the far west of the state, in the mountains. Hehehe Here it is mild, with light rain. When I retired from the Army my mother always had the idea I wanted to live in Michigan, where I was born and raised. Hah! Not lately. Right where I am, and intend to stay, a harsh winter means up to three snowfalls a winter, each with snow on the groud for up to two weeks. We have 'civilized' winters here.
