Default A fabricated 40mm Aluminium guide

I've been at the metal lathe again, in my metal junk box I found a small thick walled Aluminium tube and an Aluminium disc from an old computer hard drive, it was thinner than I would have liked but I just had to use it, why? because the centre hole was 40mm plus or minus ziltch, exact. I apologise for the lousy photography, I still sometimes forget to focus on macro.
Considering the joint withstood the machining, I reckon it won't have any problems in use, that being the case I have decided to send it to the second member who claimed the first guide just seconds after it was claimed.

Yes, but that's a "good thing". Those of us unwilling or unable to have fun on our own, can do so vicariously through your fun posts.

Sorry, Bj. That wasn't a CD disc (plastic) it is a disc from inside an old hard drive (aluminum).
