Default new products

i was looking at the new Eagle America catalog and i saw a couple of things of interest. first was the tornado filter cleaner for shop vac filters. neat idea, just overpriced at 50 bucks. also the combination fluting jig and edge guide. smart idea, also a little overpriced but nice jig. any thoughts on these?

I think I'll pass on the Tornado filter cleaner. I like banging them on the side of the house.

I'm always amused by companies making products that replace inexpensive, self-made jigs (often made from scrap bits) at a high price. But, I suppose there's a market for such things.

Come to think of it, I wonder if anyone is considering how to build a better moose trap?

hello Mike, i agree with you. its too much fun trying to reshape my filter after careful cleaning (banging it on the oak tree) . hahahahaha

its always interesting how companies that come out with simple ideas try to make a mint til the idea is copied and competition prevails.
