Talking Let's roast bobj3 for his 10,000th post

Alright everyone, BJ has only 11 more posts to go before he reaches his 10,000th post at the moment of this writing.

It was brought to my attention by GateKeeper (Michael) that we should do something special to honor this occassion like maybe roast the guest of honor. I thought it was a great idea and thus this thread will be for that purpose. This will be your chance to cook his b*tt and/or thank him for all he has contributed to this forum. He is one of a kind and we are VERY lucky to have him and his vast knowledge with us. He has made many friends in the short time he has been on this forum and I know he is appreciated by all.

Okay guys.... let the party begin as he slides ever nearer that magic 10,000th post.

Thumbs up Job well done

10,000 I wonder how many words that is? How much time at the computer that could have been spent in the shop "being Productive".

(Looks like Mike is trying t get 10,000 posts just roasting BJ one word at a time!!)

Well I am not too good at all that roasting stuff but I will say I enjoy welcoming folks to this forum especially when I know of there is a question, it will get answered, and the answer will be right on line with extra information.

Well BJ, I was going to say I applicate you but that isn't where we are supposed to go so instead I will say "if ever there was a book of useless facts, you are chapters 1-10,000!!!

Good going on a job well done, and I hope you will give 10,000 more.

roast Bob J???

i wouldnt consider it! he is one heck of a nice guy! i have come to like him so well, when someone asks a question, i pm him the answer and a drawing or two and some photos so he can answer them. he knows im just teasing. i know very little , but more because of BobJ.

10,ooo post written is a lot. but think just how many people he has helped! it would be great to be that knowledgeable, but it would be even nicer to know you had made this hobby easier and more enjoyable to people trying to learn. what i like is the way he advises people but comes across humble., never seeming pompous.

light travels faster than sound, this is why some people seem bright til you hear them speak.

Default 10k posts

Lets do the math, 10,000 posts at an average of 7.5 min/ post= 75,000 min. divide by 60 = 1250 hrs. holey moley thats a lot of typing. Bob do you EVER get any work done?

Levon, I've long suspected something like that, no one person can have all that knowledge and experience.
.
.
.
. I'm joking of course, Bj IS one person with all that knowledge and experience, long may he reign.

Bob's a good guy. I don't care what Harry said about him.

I have benefited immensely from probably 9000 of those posts. Even if it just knowledge I haven't put to use yet.
