The mind can make a hell of heaven or a heaven of hell. It’s all in ones perception.

Personally, I really like rich people AND poor people. If you make your living working for or with others, they are probably pretty well off. Are there truly awful rich people? Of course, but there seemd to be far more horrible poor people, at the least because there are so many more of them. The first generation rich people are generally pretty ambitious and take risks. About 3 generations later, unless a trust is in place, the great grandhildren of the rich are often poor again. There is no special virtue in being poor, and the rich pay the taxes that get redistributed to the poor. Is there a curse unique to the rich? Yes, it's the envy and greed of those who'd prey on them, if they could. Many of the people I admire most are what would pass as rich. One can have a generous and giving heart whether rich or poor, but the rich are able to give more because they have more. Yes, they get tax breaks on their donations, same as the poor, but over all, the rich can make larger donations. I don't think much of homilies like this one. Sorry Harry, got all serious on y'all.

@RainMan 2.0 Don't go there. How're plans going for your new enterprise?

Talking to a financial advisor at my bank ,and Iíll know in a few weeks where I stand .
I should be comfortable for a brief time , and I may have some part time work here and there from one of our contractors.

The bank manager also specializes in small business, but didnít appear overly optimistic when I mentioned my idea .
The expense to get the garage finished and get the cnc router may be out of reach at this point .
Only one to blame is myself though , but Iím sure when one door closes, that another opens .
I was looking for a job when I found this one ,but was younger and not half blind lol

Rich or poor, it is all a state of mind.
