I remember that scene from my trip there 18 years ago. Also thousands of ductless heat pumps hanging on the sides of tall buildings and a guy doing some welding on a trailer on a busy street.

This was last week. Nothings improved. An hours trip from the airport to the hotel and this mess was along the whole way. they obviously dont run anything underground and NEVER cut a cable, just coil the excess up for another day.
while we were there, we had an afternoon monsoon three days running. You couldnt see twenty foot in front, for a couple hours a time.

But it was warm, oh yes, warrrrmmmm.

Bob, the excess cable is for another day which comes quick. Like in 2 or 3 days.

Don in Murfreesboro,Tn.

Measure once cut twice and it's still to short.

I wonder how strong the magnetic fields are from the coils of wire. I'm sure that electricity could be stolen by hanging a suitable coil within the coils shown, which would constitute a transformer!

Sorry, can't help without the detailed schematic that was obviously used to do the wiring.
