Default Actually got my wife to buy something at HF

The nearest HF store to me is a 45-minute drive so I don't get to go there every day. Well, this weekend one of the free items is an 18" magnetic tool holder, and I wanted more than the one I already have, so I printed the appropriate 20% off and free item coupons and away we went. When we got there I quickly decided that I was going to buy a jig saw, and some blades. I handed her a pack of blades, the magnetic tool holder and the coupons... she paid for them with her cash. Meanwhile, I went to another register and bought the saw and got my tool holder strip too...so now I have 4.5 feet of magnetic tool holding strip, and replaced my jig saw.
Now I just have to figure out how to get her to pay for bigger items...

Yes, except that I didn't mention the trip to Hobby Lobby, Marden's discount store or the restaurant.

Ken, you got what you and she got what she wanted. That is a win-win.

My wife and I do the same thing- divide up the order to get the freebies along with some items that we buy at HF on a regular basis.

I have to admit, we've done that at craft stores too...so she kinda owed me (though she'd never admit that.)
