I looked at their content...
in the documentaries (nature/science) they are so so...
heavy in the movies and what not that I always manage to sleep through...
also there was streaming problems/issues that ranged to waiting on buffering, items not loading, skipping, sync issues to having to reboot...
anybuddy else have these issues???

I did find ''Curiosity Streaming''...
WOW!!!
way more of what I'm interested in.. and I don't sleep through the programs either...
well worth the look...

Another find is ''Slow TV''...
good for the soul...

This would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
If only new layers hadn't been added....

No Netflix here... tried it and the Canadian content is less than stellar. My son had a subscription to the US service, and it wasn't much better IMHO. I use an off-air receiver for all the local channels. For movies, sports, and other shows, I use an android based box with Showbox, Kodi, and another service I pay $10/mo for.

Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on
or by imbeciles who really mean it.

Brian, I use an android box as well (mainly for my Toronto Maple Leafs fix while I'm in Florida) as well as movies, etc. but I've never seen anything you have to pay for. Does that $10 get you anything special?

I've been banging my head against the wall over this whole TV streaming thing. (Now I've got a drywall repair...)

I received a netflix gift card for Christmas from my brother but haven't used it. He is always asking if I have used it but I don't want to if I have to sign up. Does anyone now if I can just use the gift card and not do the monthly thing?

Hey, Tom; welcome! Since it's a monthly fee, the card should simply pay for the appropriate time period. Are you asking if they need personal info?
