Oh for goodness sake. That idea has been around for years, and no way worth that much, you can make them for pennies, if that. Here are some more ideas. Bucket Mouse Traps | Five Gallon Ideas Peanut butter is probably the best bait you can find.

It's a joke.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

Youngest Son saw this trap last year in an add on line, drew a rough sketch & we made one.Used some scrap ply & Perspex & caught a mouse the first night he set it.

You can't drive a bridge spike with a tack hammer(so I'm told)

Hey Theo, how many cans of beer did you drink before you got a can that worked?

Don in Murfreesboro,Tn.

Measure once cut twice and it's still to short.

Once I set a regular mousetrap in the garage. I didn't have any cheese so I got one of my wife's magazines and cut out a picture of cheese. The next morning, the cheese picture was gone and I had the picture of a mouse in the trap!
JOAT's link for a mousetrap has been around for years. Oldtimers used bacon grease as this was in the days before peanut butter.

That was my son's favorite (and only) joke when he was about 4. It was far more fun watching him anticipating adults' reactions than hearing the joke. Thanks for reminding me of those great times.

That's not a joke at all. It really works. I have several in my outbuildings where I put them on orange buckets with a few inches of water in them. A wooden ramp with a few blobs of peanut butter guiding the mice up to it. They walk the plank & drown.

I think the principle is that it's dangerous to go swimming immediately after you eat. At least that's what my mom would say.

If I had found a can of beer that actually worked, I would have quit drinking beer in cans. Would have stuck with bottled beer instead.
