Hummingbird: 8 Steps (with Pictures)

Saw this and immediately thought of Oliver @gaffboat.

(Of course his would be much more impressive, being made out of wood finished to look like antique bronze, and powered by 2 highly trained mice on treadmills!)

I don't see the drive, Harry. Must be near the lower left wheel I think... that seems to have the fastest rotation.

It's nice the way the wings swivel depending whether they're on the up or down stroke.

You can see the power wire running to the drive motor but the motor housing and base are black and hard to see against the background.

Paul I agree the way he articulated the wings is neat and and shows a lot of thought.

Doug I guess we need to wait and see what Oliver does with his CNC and his imagination.
