I just unearthed some old 'Routing' magazines and was very surprised at a lot of prices. Sixteen years ago a lot of UK stuff was either the same price or dearer than it is today. Diamond laps at UKP76 each that I got a set of three in Lidl the other week for the equivalent of UKP5 were the most dramatic.
Hobby woodworkers had to be seriously well healed back then to be able to afford a lot of this, when you think how much incomes have changed.
BTW, has anyone got a copy of 'Routing' issue no 2? There is an article on making linenfold panelling I wouldn't mind seeing.
