Default Have spare wood and lots of time?

I went to the Barber Motor Sports Museum last month in Birmingham and if you like motorcycles this is somewhere you should go see. They have I'm guessing at least a thousand and some are very rare, possibly the only one left. The oldest I saw was a German made one from 1885 where the rider stood on a platform and was whisked along at a speed of 7 mph. In a closed office room was a wooden replica and I had to post pics of it. The detail is impressive.

That's a thing of beauty! What kind of mileage does it get?

Its speed is measured in knots.

Oh, probably something like 22 miles per board foot.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

I wonder which took longer, making the parts, finishing the parts, or putting it all together? Awesome.

OK Chuck, here's some inspiration for when you make one.

Way more free time than I have. If I built that before I substantially finish the honey-do list I would probably be single again.
