Interesting. Not something I have tried, and not likely to, certainly not chess pieces.

Not something I would do, but there are some interesting techniques going on there that could be adapted to other things.

Is that the outboard face plate of a lathe at 2:48? If so, why use the bandsaw except for seeing if he can do it?
