Mike, holding the shift key just gives the characters above the numbers. You did however give me an idea, I looked on the internet and it said that holding the Alt key and using the number keypad gives new characters, however trying all the multiple numbers I could think of gave me this

{[☺1☻♥♠♣♦◘○!♂▬!B7,MXco{A♫█YWTm■█╚{

everything except the UK pound sign!

Harry,

Hold down the 'alt' key and type 156 on the number pad. That should get you a sign.

Hope this helps,

Doug

Or.
Start - Programs - Accessories - System tools - Character map
You can draw pictures. That's what we used to do on our BBS systems before the I-nat came about. It's called ANSI art.
Right click this pic and then View image for a better size.

Hi Guys

Here' just one more it's a good one to put on the desktop

Laptop, use the Fn + alt keys and the blue numbers ▼ ♂

I was going to post the keys to flip the screen upside down, I joke I use on Admin. to drive them nuts but I said, I best not...
but you can find it on the net if you want to play a joke on the Admin./Tech in your office, it will get you about a 2 hour break...it takes them that long sometimes.. or when your done with your break.

By the way it's not a TSR it locked in and will stay in place until you take it out, so forget about a reboot it drives the IT nuts

A BIG thank you to one and all, I now have an A4 printout. In spite of 50 years in electronics, I'm still amazed at what can be done with computers.

Wink Experience don't count

That's all right, Harry. 37 years as a Logo therapist (speech therapist in the US) and I still can't talk right!!!
