Default Bye for now!

Well, the time has come for all good things to come to an end, for now. This is my last post from this address. I'll now disassemble the computers, networks, telephones, satellite, and all of the other wondrous stuff that makes all this possible.

With any luck, in a week or so, it might be possible for me to address you from our new home.

With all of this comes a complete change of lifestyle. We have been here for 3 years to bury my parents and disburse their estates. In the process we renovated and redecorated their home. Now we get to return to our quiet and peaceful lives.

However, this new (to us) home requires a complete refreshing from stem to stern. Partitions moved, kitchen, bathrooms (3), bedrooms (3) all must be reconstructed. It must be greened and prepared for occasional grid failures. It will need a new workshop/garage and carport In short it must go from yuk to wow in as short a space of time as possible. That is where each and every one of you came in. You gave me insight into all that was possible and the courage to go for it. It would be so much simpler to sit and watch TV. But, thanks to you, I'm off to a new challenge. I've screwed up my courage; convinced the wife we can do this, so we're off.

Bye all, we'll talk soon.

"Good luck, Ron," he shouts into the void. "See ya when you're back online."

If you're going to play General be careful.
If you're going to do most of the work yourself be careful.
If you have any framing questions you know where to find me.

Good luck and be careful in all your endeavors

If you're still online, I'm wishing you the best of luck in your new "job". Sounds like quite a lot of work.

See ya when you're back online.
