I have seen some of Escher's paintings, and can see how they work, but this ..... ???

When my time comes, I want to die like my grandfather did - quietly, and in his sleep - not kicking and screaming like the passengers in his car.

Here's the answer: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...-a-modern-myth

It was a very clever and well conceived exercise in myth building (a hoax) created by an RIT film maker using creatively edited film shots. He also wanted to make in depth background stories and materials about the fake architect who allegedly created the stairwell, which why he had the Kickstarter campaign going.

That was my first thought was, it was film editing. Then I thought there might be a set of stairs like a spiral leading down to the lower landing underneath the stairs going up, access to the spiral would be a door in the upper landing to a spiral star going down to the lower landing.

What a scam ,I wouldn't give them a kick in the starter, and to me this gives "KickStarter" a black eye for even letting it happen. I have always admired Kickstarter for giving "no bodies" a chance to develop their ideas.
