Default One of those Senior Moments

I bought one of the DustStoppers from HomeDepot and was going to do a side by side test with a dust deputy.
Last week after cleaning the vacuum bin, filter and the 5-gallon bucket I ran a test with the dust deputy. Then I recleaned the bin, filter and the 5-gallon bucket and ran a test with the Dust stopper. I remembered to take pictures of everything.

I was really disappointed with the results of the DustStopper test, really thought it would work better. Most of the dust ended up in the vacuum filter. Had to get back on the two projects I was working on so did not think about it until today.

I downloaded the pictures to my computer this morning and started picking the pictures I would use for the post I would be doing on the comparison test.

Here are pictures of the setups I used for the tests. Do you see where the senior moment occurred?

Well, I wanted to do the test including the Rockler Vortex anyway.

Mike - if you've only had "one" of those senior moments, consider yourself lucky - I get them ALL THE TIME

Some folks call me Vince - other folks call me...........

My first senior moment happened before i was a senior. I'm sitting at the computer desk that it happened on. Glued one of the feet on upside down and didn't discover it until the next morning and of course the glue had dried by then. Of course I still connect things arse backwards sometimes.

Oops. Comparing apples to turnups won't fly. Look forward to the review.

I will put my money on the DD rather than the DS.

You have to shift it into forward instead of reverse tho.
At least you didn't have the BS blade with the teeth pointing up.

Senior moments? Never have them...at least so far as I can recall.
