Thumbs up Here Come De Judge!

Whoot!
The guild held the 2x4 Challenge dinner tonight. Entries were judged and I was not disappointed!

!st prize ...First Time Entry
1st prize ...Judges Choice
3rd prize...Peoples Choice (Everyone there got a ballot; marked down their 1st 2nd and 3rd choices.) Maybe about 40 attendees.

The white stand is just that, not part of the challenge. I've got to say, I voted for a couple of the other entries...after voting for mine first.

Thanks to all you guys with the advice long the way. What are we building next year?

I told ya the workmanship was good.
I also told you to put it somewhere you couldnt hear it.
Glad I was right on both counts.

I'm taking your advice, Bob.
Everyone there that was a bit musically inclined wanted to know how I tuned it...

Hi Dan, having a memory lapse here, what is it?

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

....I don't remember.

It's an Aeolian wind harp. This one hangs outdoors; the wind blowing across the strings sets them vibrating creating harmonics. I don't even know if it's possible to tune it.

That's one fancy birdhouse! How tall are these birds? And the music is a really nice touch...…..My birds would love that after a hard day of worm and bug hunting...just saying.
