Default It must be flower day, I got a Daisy

And it only cost me $49.99.

Actually, I've got a bunch of them.
1-Model 2211, 1-Model 2212, 3-Model 2202 (including a variant, with a black stock), 1-Model 8, and a BB gun.

Now most of you are going to be thinking, so what the Hell is the big deal about owning a bunch of BB guns. News flash, they are all .22LR bolt actions, except for the BB gun. Betcha a lot of you didn't know Daisy had made .22LR rifles. Not only that, they made one in caseless ammo, and ammo for that one is readily available, as are rifles. They also made a semi-auto model, but it proved not so popular as they were often prone to go full auto.

If you're curious, I'll explain the various models, but not now, things to do.

Interesting find. I have several semiauto, gas powered bb pistols that are fun to shoot in my back yard. Fun to plink at small bits of wood to make them jump. Like to shoot things, not critters.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

Tom, this target is exactly what you need. Plan on getting one for myself one of these days.

Leave it to the English to come up with something like this.

OK Tom, seeing as how this is a woodworking forum, here is a woodworking project for you.
American Airguns - Make Your Own Field Target I may have been mis-informed, but was given to believe that the price on these thingies is around $40, each.

Reckon they've gone down a bit, but I'd still rather custom make my own. Cheaper, and lots more fun. Saw one on a Brit site, Yosemite Sam, with the hole in his hat. Downright sacreligious.

Isn't that a prized feature, not a fault?

Theo what I find most interesting is that you actually spent some money on something. Here I thought you still
had the first dollar you ever made. The reason I thought this is because you have the ability to make most anything
so you don't have to buy it. Maybe your going to start making Daisy rifles now.

Hey, I'm not cheap, I'm broke. This last one, and all the others except the single shot, are investments. Sometime you just have to buy. As long as you buy cheap.
Check the asking price on this one, with no magazine.

And the asking price for a gently used magazine.

I like single shots, so will be keeping that one. It is a Model 2211, which means it has a wood stock. The artifical stock model is a 2201. Possibly also will keep the Model 2212, which has a wood stock, AND a stock magazine. Artificial stock model is 2202. But more likely it will go too. Heck, I could sell just the magazine and make a decent profit.

I will be getting rid of the others in time, and for a decent profit. I have one more factory magazine, a magazine I am modifying to fit, and need to mod another magazine.

Oh yes, have one more single shot. It was originally made by Iver Johnson for Daisy. When the company had problems, Daisy bought the rights and made them for about a year. And they say Daisy on them too. Not quite as well known as the others. I don't like it because you have to pull a knob on the end of the bolt to cock it, so it will be going too.

And it drives some of the Daisy collectors nuts to know I have all of them. Hilarious that they are willing to pay big bucks for one, even without a magazine, and I paid $50 each for two of them, and around $100, or less, for the rest, I think one cost $70.
