As most of you know, my CNC is my plywood masters. Still working just fine. CNC = Certainly No Computer.
Well, just got a couple of professional grade upgrades to my CAD. For you non-CAD guys, that is Cute And Draws. And for those of you that do not know, my CAD is a mechanical pencil, eraser, and a paper notebook.
The first upgrade I got was a large hole template. I've got a nice compass, about $1 probably from WallyWorld, I've had for awhile and it really works well, plastic, metal point, with a mechanical pencil taped in place. Works much better than those metal compasses with the sharp metal point. Got the template because the majority of circles I want are one of these exact sizes, will save time over using the compass, and exact.
The second, and really cool, upgrade is a Snoopy And Friends ruler. I'm so happy with my upgrades, it's like I'm squatting in tall cotton. Woodworking just doesn't get much better than this.
