That is amazing. So many in one place at the same time. He'll probably have them eating out of his hands soon.

The more I do, the less I accomplish.

I saw this some time back. Two years ago my wife and I went to Alaska for two weeks and while we were in Juneau I went King Salmon fishing while my wife went whale watching at Mendenhall Glacier. Bald eagles had become a very common sight. I could could clearly see them in treetops and flying around but it wasn't until the two boats were headed back to dock that we met up at a place they stop each trip to get rid of the leftover fresh bait. The eagles were very familiar with this tradition. While she had the dSLR taking pictures I was busy with the not quite as good cell phone camera, now replaced. It was truly amazing to see so many eagles at one time flying almost at arms length to catch the airborne bait. Here's a sample of the offering. I can't wait to get back there in early May.

Although these pictures only show 2-3 at a time there were dozens all over the place within 30 yards of the boats competing for the food. To see more you can find them on my website here where the pictures are posted by port/location. If you really like glaciers look at Glacier Bay starting at day 7. This shows the entrance to glacier bay and then continues. The sightseeing ship gives this some scale. We were on the 13th deck of the cruise ship on our balcony taking pictures just under the bridge.

Love the Bald Eagles ! I only have one tattoo, a Bald Eagle on my right bicep. Never regretted it for a second. I also have a collection of Eagle figurines and prints in my home.

Don't fear your tools, pay attention and respect the tools and avoid injury.
